The HEINZMANN Classic System is now considered obsolete and its components are only sold as spare parts. It used to consist of a geared DC hub motor that is spoked directly into either the front or rear wheel, a digital or analogue controller box, a modern light weight Lithium-Manganese battery that is carried in a pannier that clicks easily into place on the special heavy duty luggage holder, and a twist grip that controls the amount of help the motor provides. A pedal sensor that switches off the motor when you stop pedalling completes the system and turns your push bike into a proper pedelec bike.
Heinzmann have stopped their support for the Classic system completely. We still have some parts in stock, new and second hand. We can also repair many components.
The original HEINZMANN Classic batteries are not available anymore. Please get in contact if you need replacement batteries for your system.
